    USS WOODROW WILSON SSBN-624, 20th Anniversary cover for this 425' Lafayette Class nuclear ballistic missile submarine that was commissioned in 1963 and served 31 years, until 1994. The cover is postmarked at Mare Island, CA on, Dec 27, 1983.
    Blue photo sub leaving the Golden Gate printed an add on, to Saginaw Chap. cachet #50 by Alvin Eckert, USCS #9964. Cover franked with a 20 cent flag over the Supreme Court stamp.
    The cover was prepared on a gummed quality envelope with slight toning.
