Looks absolutely incredible!!! Very rare true vintage and DATED varsity sweater, I say dated because hidden in the waistband it has an original NRA label, from FDR's National Recovery Administration, which lasted specifically from 1933 to 1935. So this sweater is dated to right in that window of time, and also makes it of historical significance too beyond just true pre WWII era vintage clothing. The NRA tag is rough but you can still make it out that it says that, also the label in the collar is from O'Shea Knitting Mills, Chicago. Very thick and heavy duty birdseye knit wool - rare pullover crew style varsity sweater with again a crew neckline, not a shawl or mock, has the dark red/green W logo patch on front plus striped ringer sleeve, purchased in St. Louis and these colors match Washington University St. Louis too, so I'm 99.9% sure that's what it's from and that exact era. Doesn't always come together so completely! Great shape - one tiny cuff hole, another on back, overall WOW!!
